My niece and nephew were coming over the other day and I wanted to bake something special for them.
I had already made banana pudding for us but I knew it was not their cup of tea, so I decided to search my to-bake list to find something they’d like. I knew they loved Nutella, thus I chose my fellow blogger Helena Gasparetto’s recipe and it was a hit 🙂
With a few ingredients, these cookies are extremely easy to make and get ready in no time!
NUTELLA COOKIES
(source: Helena Gasparetto)
INGREDIENTS
350g Nutella
1 egg
100g sugar
125g flour
80g chocolate buttons/chips (optional)
METHOD
Preheat oven to 170°C and line a baking tray with parchment or a silicon mat.
Put Nutella in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 10 secs (just to make it easier to beat).
In the bowl of your mixer add softened Nutella, egg and sugar and beat with the paddle attachment. Add in flour and beat a bit more. On slow speed, or by hand, add the chocolate buttons.
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the batter onto the prepared tray and bake for about 12 minutes.
Set aside for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Yields about 16 cookies.
I’m also sharing these cookies at Fiesta Friday 🙂

My nutella supply is suddenly looking inadequate. Luckily it is not hard to find around here. These cookies are perfect for the all-ages group I am expecting next week, and it looks like a pretty straight forward recipe. Thanks for sharing this with us.
