With a small sharp knife open a small hole in the centre of the cupcake and lift it.
Fill the hole with the filling of your liking – I used raspberry jam here.
Cut the top of the core off to make a lid.
Spread the topping of your choice – I used Nutella.
Using a cupcake corer speeds the process. Insert it into the centre of the cupcake and pull it back twisting the corer.
That is the entire point of making cupcakes isn’t it? It’s so disappointing when you bite into one and there’s only… well… cake.
